In order to develop Golden Eagle field in the North Sea, Nexen (UK) deploys W-jacket and PUQ jacket to execute the development project. Heerema Fabrication yard Vlissingen is contracted for the fabrication of both jackets and Mammoet is responsible for the load out by using 216 lines of SPMT’s for each jacket. Due to design change, the current strength of the grillage is not sufficient for the load out operation, thereafter reinforcements are required. A combined FE model of grillage and SPMT’s is developed to examine both global and local structural behavior with regard to strength and stability. The solution must be simple, straight forward and optimized for fabrication time and cost.为开发北海 Golden Eagle 油田，Nexen（英国）部署 W 导管架与 PUQ 导管架执行开发项目。Heerema Vlissingen 制造场承接两座导管架的制造，Mammoet 负责装船——每座导管架使用 216 轴线 SPMT。因设计变更，现有垫梁强度不足以满足装船作业，需要加固。建立垫梁与 SPMT 的组合有限元模型，校核强度与稳定性方面的整体与局部结构行为。解决方案必须简单直接，并针对制造工期与成本进行优化。
