The new Mammoet Terminal Crane is designed for small harbours where large and heavy cranes have no access to. The crane is fully containerized. To fill in the gap in the market, Mammoet designs this 500 [Te] capacity crane at an outreach of 30 [m]. Several components are reused from the old MSG-II crane designed by Huisman and several components are re-calculated by using modern FEM-software. The crane is fully containerized. The loads are determined in a FE parametric model and are used to verify every component in the crane.
